Following a tough match tonight, Walesby claimed victory with a 3-2 win. Forest View proved strong competition tonight as our boys battled it out on the pitch. Together, Walesby listened to one another, gave each other direction and pursued each and every goal with sheer determination and perseverance. A great game was had by all.
Well done Walesby.

A special 'Well Done' goes out to all the children who were successful in getting to the interview stage. All of the presentations and interview techniques, responses and suggestions were outstanding. You should all be very proud of yourselves.
We are delighted by our June 2014 Ofsted report. It clearly recognises and celebrates what has been one almighty team effort. The Walesby team very much includes all pupils, parents, every member of staff, and our school governors. School improvement is at the heart of everything we do, together, on a daily basis. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers, in particular, for the trust you place in us and for your full support of everything we do here at Walesby. We look forward to the journey ahead as we continue to work to make Walesby C of E Primary School the very best it can be.
Today, Kai, Calum and Erin represented Walesby C of E Primary School at Boccia. The fabulous three went to Newark to compete against Farndon St Peters, John Hunt, Caunton, Forest View, Ravenshead and Python Hill. Kai made many successful strategic decisions as Captain with all three making some incredible shots; often knocking the opposition's ball clean out of the way.
After seven rounds of many nail biting moments, the winners were announced. As we listened to the scores, we were thrilled to be awarded 3rd place. Certificates and medals were presented to the team as they smiled for photographs. A super morning was had by all. Well done Kai, Calum and Erin.
