How do we learn at our school?

The way your child learns may be quite different to how you learnt at school! At Walesby C of E Primary our teachers keep up to date with all the latest developments in teaching and learning... this is what your child may tell you about their learning:

Why is Walesby important to me? ( A letter to the Chair of Governors)

Walesby school is important to me because I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. It has helped me to learn many new things, not just academically but many life skills as well. I started here when I was just a shy 3 year old who wouldn't say boo to a goose and now look at me, I am a confident year 6 who is applying to be head girl! I believe that is down to the Walesby school staff who have inspired me and given me the confidence to be the best person I can be. I have been very happy here at Walesby and have made many friendships which I believe will last a lifetime. The staff are kind and caring and I feel that I could talk to them if anything was bothering me or others. Walesby school has been a wonderful place to grow up in and I am very proud of how far I've come.

Thank you for listening.
