High-Quality Inclusive Practice
Our first priority is to ensure that every child benefits from high-quality teaching within the classroom.
Teachers carefully adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, providing appropriate support and challenge so that every child can succeed. Our approach to adaptive teaching is underpinned by the HFL 5 Cs of Inclusion (Classroom, Clarity, Content, Checks and Completion of Tasks), helping to create calm, purposeful and inclusive classrooms where expectations remain high for every learner.
When additional support is required, we respond early through the graduated approach, working collaboratively with families to identify needs, plan appropriate support and review progress regularly.
