Visions and Values

Our vision and Christian values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy people.

Our Mission Statement:

Together, we love, learn and grow with God

"Living life in all its fullness." (John 10:10)

Our Vision:

As a Church of England school, the Christian faith is at the heart of all we do at Walesby, not only in what we teach, but in how we teach. We uphold the C of E’s values and entwine them with our ‘Walesby Way’ and R.I.C.H values, so that children become confident, resilient individuals, ready to foster a  life-long love of learning, allowing them to flourish in all that they do.

All our children are happy, healthy and successful learners determined to achieve the very best they can;

All of our children are independent, confident and creative thinkers

All of our children make at least good progress in order to attain as highly as they can

None of our children will under achieve

All our children are given a wide range of opportunities to stay healthy in mind and body;

All of our children are valued as individuals within the caring Christian ethos

Our school will be the hub of an exciting, safe and stimulating learning community, where our families, their children, our staff, governors and local community work in partnership to achieve outstanding provision for our learners

Every child is well prepared for the next steps in their learning

All our children understand the importance of belonging to, feeling valued by and making a contribution to a cohesive, vibrant Christian community and are well prepared for life in modern Britain;
